The Rise Series began with a painting donated to Harmony at Home, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to end cycles of violence and abuse by empowering children, young adults, and families to lead healthy and productive lives.
The series grew from that first piece, continuing the idea of hope and renewal through simple, abstract seascapes inspired by the calm, misty skies of Carmel. Each work in the series reflects a quiet sense of uplift and the belief that even the softest light can represent strength.
